Black Mountain X The Good Life Experience Collab Bike 2018
To celebrate The Good Life Experience’s fifth birthday and our first time at the festival we here at Black Mountain Bikes decided to do a special, one-off, super limited edition Black Mountain SKØG bike. And you can win it!
For those of you that don’t know, The Good Life Experience is a festival of music, culture, food and the great outdoors brought to you by Cerys Matthews, her husband Steve Abbott and Charlie and Caroline Gladstone from the Hawarden Estate up in North Wales. This year it took place over the long weekend of September 14 – 16th.
We somehow managed to persuade the super talents (and spray gun) of Rob Nicholas at Colourburn Studio to squeeze us in to his already busy schedule. We mixed in a bit of demon graphic design from our good friend Jon Gregory and this is what came out.
Hopefully we’ve achieved “discovery and adventure, music, culture, food and the great outdoors”… and that is what The Good Life Experience is all about (OK, we might have missed the food bit out!).
The paint could be described as disco pearlescent purple with a slight green and blue shimmer, topped off by silver glitter graphics. We are over the moon with how it came out, so much so that we don’t really want to give it away! Yeah that’s right, any one of you out there can win this bike. Entries close at midnight on September 30th.
